Leaving Buehlers - Baldwinsville, NY

It is Friday morning about 10:15 am and the Buehlers have left in their rental car to drive back to Fairport to pick up their car and head back to Webster Lake, MA.
Needless to say we had a great time with them. In case you do not know, they are probably are oldest set of friends. We met in 1976 when Jennifer and Lauren Buehler started at age 3 in the Community Coop Nursery School in Andover, MA.

Nick had grown up in Dover, Ohio and also was a big Cleveland Browns fan. In fact we were watching tv with them when the Browns blew the playoffs with the Famous Red Right 88 play. Nick and I also got to go to a playoff game one December as I had season tickets from 1988 to 1995 when they moved to Baltimore.

Baldwinsville is a small town on the canal, but lots of boaters stopped here last night. We listened to a rock concert which was held on the other side of the Canal.
Concert was over at 10 pm so we were able to get to sleep.

Today it is on to Brewerton, NY. More later

Joe

ps Forgot to mention that we saw a lot of birds as we motored down the Canal. Nick and I were fortunate enough to see a bald eagle fly down the Canal right past High Spirits about 30 feet up in the air and about 20 feet off the right side of the boat. Joy and Sue missed this piece of excitement for the day,
