New Smyrna Beach

A short ride yesterday, and we pulled into New Smrna, Fl.  A mall town on the ICW jut north of Titusville which is our destination for today, Dec 6 , Thursday.  It is early, about 6 am, and I could not fall back to sleep.

We are getting closer to Ft.Pierce where we will stop for Christmas vacation.

Yesterday was Steve Franko's birthday and we celebrated by going out to a Thai restaurant for
lunch and enjoying a birthday cake that Steve made. He does the vast majority of  cooking on Yeterday' Dream.

At the Thai restaurant Steve got a special desert, fried banana with honey and vanilla and strawberry ice cream.

New Smyrna had their Christmas parade of people and boat last weekend. We were here for it two years ago with Linda and Francis Miko, plus Sophie.

Finally it wa time for cards and birthday cake.  Steve prepared a vegan carrot cake which was very moist (applesauce).

This morning it is off  to Titusville and the mooring field.
