Brewerton, NY

We arrived in Brewerton, NY after a 3.5 hour trip from Baldwinsville.
Had a nice breakfast with Nick and Sue and then they left in their rental car.
High Spirits was pinned in at the wall by a strong wind from the side, and two boats rafted off in front of us. We had to wait for the two boats to leave to have a safe exit from the wall and into the lock.

An interesting ride down the Seneca River today. There are some very expensive homes with large motor vessels. Here is a photo of one of them.

When we got to the marina this afternoon we parked next to this beautiful motor yacht of at least 60 feet in length. Joy found out that she was built in 1929 and belongs to a family from Quebec, Canada. They are here visiting the Erie Canals.
She also found out that when this wooden boat was not in the water for a while, it took 2 weeks for the wood to swell up to seal the joints. So here are two photos, the boat is too large to get onto one shot/
