Weekend in Brewerton, NY - Pictures later

We are spending this weekend in Brewerton working on the boat, washing clothes, riding our bikes and doing stuff land lovers like to do.

We have three items on the boat that need attention, 1) charging systems, 2) cooling system, and 3) a stuck nut on one of the chain plates. We are rebedding the chain plates with new caulk to help waterproof them. One of the nuts seems to be rusted on to the chain plate and does not want to move. The major fear would be if too much force is applied, the chain plate could snap and then we would be in a real pickle. Not sure where we can order a new chain plate for a 26 year old boat made in England. On Monday, the head mechanic at Ess-Kay Marina will be in. That is where we are staying.

Hopefully we will get some pictures to today to post and expand today's thoughts.

Joe
